Backline rental at Guggenheim Bilbao
On February 27th, I had the opportunity to be at the Guggenheim Bilbao for the rental of our Martin D28 for a very interesting event.

It was an event organized by the Italia Maitea association, which aims to connect Italy with the Basque Country. The program featured a screening of the film Palazzina LAF in its original Italian version with Spanish subtitles. The film deals with the mafia-like practices of a large steel company located in Taranto, Italy. You can see what it’s about here:

After the film, there was a discussion between the event organizer and Diodato, a very famous Italian singer. Diodato was, among other things, the winner of the 2020 Sanremo Music Festival and was selected to represent Italy at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest with his ballad “Fai rumore” (Make Rumors). Due to the cancellation of the contest because of the COVID-19 pandemic, he couldn’t perform in Rotterdam, but the song became an anthem in Italy. He is originally from Taranto, so he was able to explain firsthand what’s happening around the company.

Diodato really liked the guitar; he told me he was very happy with it.
