Customers come to Kitarshokak: Gorka Alegre Ex-Baron Rojo

Visits from customers are always welcome, a pleasure to be able to share things, learn from anecdotes, experiences, points of view… that my job at Kitarshokak and the way I work with personalized attention for each client who comes allows me.

In this case, Gorka Alegre came, who played bass in Baron Rojo a few years ago. Good anecdotes regarding the sound of albums like “Painkiller” by Judas Priest and what guitar and bass speakers that album was recorded with, for example, since Gorka had the pleasure of being able to talk with the producer of that album, Chris Tsangarides.

Points of view about the simulators like Kemper, Axe, etc… that his friend Angel had tried all of them and why, since we’re at it, why concerts don’t also have electronic drums instead of acoustic ones, which would be similar to simulators for amplifiers, something I always say.

The friend listened to a JCM800 2203 that I set up with the Gibson 335 that I have from Backline to rent in all its splendor and was surprised by the clean sounds that can be achieved with it and the dynamics it has.

In short, enriching and very interesting from many aspects, a pleasure!
