Improvisation: old school hard heavy metal riffs
A customer contacts me concerned that the amplifier is not working well, making problems in sound and urgently because he has two live concerts coming up. To see if it can be solved quickly, I start checking all the possible problems. It is a Laney Ironheart 60 and I connect it to the Marshall 4×12″ JCM800 cabinet with G12-65s from 83 with the Gibson Les Paul from 91 both from the Backline section of Kitarshokak. I check everything, channel changes, cabs outputs, with footswitch, without… and it seems to be going well, I clean the contacts, etc… until speaking with customer we observe that the channel change is not going well as it should. Cable is changed and…ready! Sometimes there are simple things that make a difference…
And in the meantime, I get inspired and play with the amp while I try things. The video is proof of this.
