This particular pedal was never marketed as a series pedal. It is the predecessor of the well-known Taxi Driver manufactured by Roberto. Both based on the Boss OD-1. I have compared both (Taxi Driver and this one) and this one is a little sweeter than that one. It has also been compared to a vintage Boss OD-1 and offers more note separation more suitable especially for rhythm guitars. A pedal in which Roberto’s craftsmanship, detail and good work are palpable.

It includes the 14-leg long dash chip so renowned in the early Boss OD-1.

Very interesting combined with an amp that is somewhat hot or saturated but overloaded with bass (like almost all or all of those with a classic and vintage conception) to boost the signal, saturating it and filtering it in bass, achieving a more liquid sound suitable for the frequency of the guitar very suitable for cutting into the mix. True bypass.
