Essentially a super-deluxe rackmount Made in the USA (and currently out of print) version of the legendary Digitech Whammy WH-1 (and II) which uses the same IVL technology and offers many more options like smart harmonizer, delays, chorus, flangers and leslie -rotaries thus becoming a multi-effects. It is programmable, controllable via MIDI and in conjunction with a volume pedal it could work just like a Whammy. You’d also need a MIDI footswitch if you want to switch banks in real time, but you obviously won’t need one if you want to record, for example.

Used by musicians like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), The Edge (U2)…it could be used to create backgrounds, tensions, harmonizations, shimmers, whammys…both in pop and similar styles as well as in powerful styles like stoner, rock, or lead guitarists to create interesting sonic spectrums.
