Marshall JCM800 1960B 4×12 ´83 (Celestion G12-65)
50,00€ €
A straight cabinet with a rock character with a lot of history since it belonged to the well-known spanish rock-metal band Flitter (Javi, his alma mater brought it to us) with whom he made many concerts and recordings. It has a nuclear aesthetic motif made by him at that time. For many it is a loudspeaker with a “Greenback” character and Hendrix vibe but updated to the Van Halen style. It is also the reference of the heavy of the 80s and highly revered by jazz, pop-rock musicians…
These speakers are highly sought after today and have been reissued as many “boutique” amps are mounting them. In any case we offer the originals, not the reissue. It has a sweet sound full of nuances and with a special bass that provides a lot of body. Ideal to combine it with any of our amplifiers to provide definition of sound and body.
These speakers are or have been used by AC/DC, Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, John Mayer, Mike Landau, Robben Ford, Ray Gomez, Lenny Kravitz….in many styles ranging from blues, funk…to rock, heavy, metal, AOR… AC/DC’s “Back in Black” has been recorded with these speakers, for example.
