A true cult piece in the world of guitar tube amplification (although I have also tried it with bass and it sounds great), the Mesa Boogie 295 Simul-Class power amp stands as one of the most sophisticated and respected units ever built by Mesa Boogie.

This particular unit is one of the early production models, featuring rear-mounted controls, often regarded as the version with the best transformers. Dated 1988 according to its Schumacher transformers.

From Metallica to AC/DC to Prince, this model was used in the studio and/or on world stadium tours.

It features two output transformers, each capable of delivering 95 watts, and can drive up to four speaker cabinets. With a combination of 6L6 and EL34 tubes, it offers two modes: Class A at 30 watts through the EL34s, or by adding the 6L6s in Class A/B to achieve the full 95 watts per channel. Both channels feature independent standby, volume, and presence controls.
