Available within our backline service, this Mesa Boogie Diesel 4×10″ is a classic 90s bass cabinet loaded with Electro-Voice speakers. It is the rare “deep” (18”) cabinet version and is now discontinued.

An ideal choice for those seeking solid low end, definition, and real headroom in both live and studio environments.

A fantastic cabinet and a must-have for anyone looking for a rich, characterful Mesa tone. It’s no coincidence that these speakers and cabinets played a key role in the bass sounds of 80s–90s heavy and metal productions, such as Judas Priest’s Painkiller. Stevie Ray Vaughan also used EV 10” speakers. So if you want his tone, plug our Fender SRV Stratocaster into any of our vintage Fender heads and Ibanez TS808 at high volume and you’ll get very close to his sound.
