The Palmer PGA-04 is the perfect tool for recording and playing at home without needing a speaker cabinet, or for achieving fast and efficient results in the studio without the hassle of microphone setups. It’s also widely used in live situations, sending your amp’s sound directly to the mixing desk, blending it with a mic’d cabinet, or for Wet-Dry-Wet / Wet-Dry systems—allowing you to drive an amp (including its power stage) and then apply post-effects like delay to the saturated signal. It’s also very useful for recording guitar parts that were left pending in an otherwise finished studio production.

Artists like Eddie Van Halen and Def Leppard have used this unit or the PDI-03 (which we also have available for rent). Mark Tremonti also used it with Alter Bridge.

This specific unit has been compared with a later production PGA-04, and it showed more defined and sweeter tonal nuances—which is why this particular one is available for rent.
