Currently discontinued, this pedal is a recreation of the Germanium Dallas-Arbiter Fuzz Face. The original Dallas-Arbiter Fuzz Face was made famous by Jimi Hendrix and was used by Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, and many other professional guitarists. These musicians had the privilege of selecting the best pedals and then further refining them with technicians such as Roger Mayer, whose reputation they also helped establish.

The Fuzz Haze solves the quality issues of the originals through strict quality control, careful component selection, and user-accessible adjustments that were never available on vintage Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face units. This level of quality is synonymous with the ThroBak brand.

The Fuzz Haze delivers the same thick, powerful fuzz that drew Jimi Hendrix to the original Dallas-Arbiter Fuzz Face. Many Fuzz Face clones remove the bass response that made the original such a powerhouse when paired with a Stratocaster. This is not the case with the Fuzz Haze. Its internal pre-gain and bias controls allow you to fully shape the character of the fuzz and its low-end response.

ThroBak Fuzz Haze pedals also feature socketed transistors, allowing each unit to be individually fine-tuned. This ensures that every Fuzz Haze sounds as if it were hand-selected from the very best.

It sounds incredibly good at low, medium, and high levels… and cleans up beautifully using the guitar’s volume control.
