Warmoth Custom Super Stratocaster Black + Seymour Duncan + Wilkinson Floyd-Style | Platinum Case
1.250,00€ €
Available at Kitarshokak a custom-built electric guitar based on Warmoth components, commissioned in 2006 and configured with components from leading brands, including Seymour Duncan, Wilkinson and DiMarzio.
The guitar features an attractive black finish with silver screen printing, a Stratocaster-style body, an ebony fingerboard and a distinctive 70s Fender-inspired headstock, reversed and without logo.
Its aesthetics and configuration are particularly reminiscent of certain guitars associated with instrumental rock and hard rock in the 1980s and 1990s, with a clear visual connection to some of the guitars popularized by Joe Satriani, although this is an independent custom build and is not a replica of any specific guitar.
The guitar has had one owner since it was purchased and was professionally set up in October 2025, so it is ready to play. It is very comfortable and easy to play, while also being highly inspiring.
Construction and provenance
This guitar was commissioned and purchased new from Kasmont’s in Valencia in 2006, as a custom build made from components specifically selected for the instrument.
Photographs of the original 2006 purchase invoice are available, detailing the components used, the assembly work and the investment made in the build.
The documented investment in the completed guitar was €2,783.89 in 2006, including components, assembly and case.
The original invoice lists, among other components, an alder Stratocaster-style body, a neck with an ebony fingerboard, a Wilkinson VS-100 bridge, Seymour Duncan pickups, DiMarzio components, locking tuners and Schaller strap locks.
The body and neck are Warmoth components. The guitar retains the original identification of these components, although the owner chose not to install the Warmoth sticker on the headstock. The original Warmoth logo sticker is included.

Tone and character
The current Seymour Duncan pickup configuration gives this guitar a particularly strong orientation towards tones with power, definition and excellent response to overdrive and distortion.
The Seymour Duncan Little ’59 in single-coil format provides a humbucker-style character in the neck position while retaining a compact single-coil format. The Seymour Duncan Invader currently installed in the bridge provides a more aggressive, powerful and punchy response. The Seymour Duncan Invader is highly versatile, covering everything from rock to extreme metal.
The Wilkinson VS-100 also provides a floating tremolo system with a wide range of movement, particularly well suited to expressive techniques and styles in which this type of bridge has become a familiar feature.
It is particularly interesting for:
- Rock
- Hard Rock
- Heavy Metal
- Instrumental Rock
- Blues Rock
- Progressive Rock
- 1980s Rock
- 1990s Rock
- Guitar solos and technical playing
- Studio work
- Live performance
Aesthetics and personality
One of the most striking aspects of this guitar is its appearance.
The combination of a black body, silver screen printing, ebony fingerboard, two humbucker-format pickups, floating bridge and reversed headstock clearly recalls the aesthetics of certain instrumental rock and hard rock guitars from the late 1980s and early 1990s.
The configuration also has a particularly interesting feature: the neck pickup is a Seymour Duncan Little ’59 in single-coil format, while the bridge currently features a Seymour Duncan Invader.
Together with the Wilkinson VS-100, this places the guitar firmly within the aesthetic of the so-called Superstrat guitars, with a configuration particularly well suited to rock and high-gain sounds.
The headstock, meanwhile, features a distinctive reversed 1970s Fender-inspired shape, adding a highly recognizable visual element reminiscent of the famous Washburn N4 popularized by Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme.
