Well-known and recognized dynamic microphone designed for instruments with low frequencies such as kick drum, bass… although it can also be interesting for electric guitars or voices. Its most recognized feature is that it boosts frequencies between 50 Hz and 200 Hz. It has an internal shockmount which isolates the outside, vibrations, etc… of the capsule and coil.

It was widely used in the 50’s and 60’s by the Beatles, Abbey Road Studios… and therefore has the characteristic sound of that time and those records. Don’t expect a modern base sound though in conjunction with other microphones and your imagination…there are no limits!
